World Of Darkness Artifacts
Vampires are slow at learning new things. As such, you still have access to the base lifestyles, but at a lower rate of progression. You can instead choose to invest your time into the disciplines, opening the powers of the damned for your use. Buildings represent your influence over the mortal populace. Most are capped by a stat like control and you will have to choose how to balance these. Note that major centers of populations, represented by high development duchy capitals are the biggest asset any Prince can dream of. Warfare is sensibly altered, with a bigger emphasis on knights. The prowess of your knights can easily overcome a much more numerous foe, especially if mostly composed of levies. As such, be very wary of high prowess hostile Vampires. In a world full of deceit and tricks, intrigue plays a bigger role. There are new schemes to discover, some linked to your powers, and most of the characters have secrets better left untold... or used for blackmail if their religion allows it.

The World of Darkness has a number of prestigious and magical artifacts. Princes of Darkness is no exception. Here is our expanding list of both court and inventory artifacts. Some of these items are in the position of canon characters according to lore at the start of the 1230 Bookmark. Others are distributed randomly through the world. Some can only be gained through completing certain objective decisions.
The fate of this world balances upon thirteen objects of power. Thirteen Artifacts, each in the possession of a bearer. Separately, 13 Artifacts guide the fate of the universe. Together, 13 artifacts will end the universe. The 13 artifacts that exist in the Top Cow Universe.
There are 13 artifacts that reside in the Top Cow Universe, said to control the fate of the world. For centuries the 13 Artifacts were unknown, until the events of Broken Trinity The trinity, which refers to the Witchblade, the Darkness and the Angelus, are orbited by the other artifacts and tend to cross paths with them through the centuries. The Curator finally lists all but two of the 13 artifacts and gives Michael Finnegan the task of keeping them separate. During the events of Artifacts, an unknown person captures and reprograms Aphrodite IV with the task of procuring all the artifacts for himself. This unknown figure lists all 13 artifacts and tells Aphrodite IV that he intends to unite all the artifacts and destroy the world with the intent to bring about a new world
Wonders are magic in physical form. They are the power to move the world trapped in a bottle and just waiting to be let loose. Wonders take many forms and do many things, but each is created using the will of the mage to bind power within an object.
All objects in the mundane world have a dormant spirit, according to most animism-inclined mages, and with the right magic, they can be Awakened, stirring the spirit form its slumber and giving an object a spiritual reflection. This gives an object an ability to affect Spirits automatically, and generally causes it to work more perfectly; a guitar tunes itself, a computer keeps itself virus-free and optimized, and similar. This also grants an object a -1 difficulty to use for those the spirit likes (and a +1 for those it doesn't). For weapons, this instead is either +1 Accuracy or +1 Damage as appropriate.
A Primer, a Grimoire that teaches Arete 1, grants that dot for free, but must be used by a Sleeper with a compatible world view and an above average intellect and willingness to see past their current state. Not everyone can be Awakened, but a Primer often succeeds where nothing else will.
Artifacts can be found in a few locations but the easiest ones to retrieve are the two artifacts in the River Lowlands' Ghost Matter building and the artifact in the Hidden Gorge's projector building.
Tharizdun was imprisoned long ago, but his prison may weaken at times, allowing his influence to creep out into the worlds beyond. Tharizdun's temple in the Yatils is thought to have been originally defeated with the aid of the legendary Six from Shadow.[28]
Tharizdun has many known artifacts. "One" that is known is actually many: a collection of gems known as the 333 Gems of Tharizdun. Their current location is unknown, but it is certain that the collection was split up long ago. Other artifacts associated with Tharizdun include the horn known as the Wailer of Tharizdun, the thermophagic sword Druniazth, and the Spear of Sorrow. The Scorpion Crown was gifted by him to the last king of Sulm. Still another artifact, the Weeping Hexagram, is in the hands of the Scarlet Brotherhood.
In Gary Gygax's Gord the Rogue Series, there were a set of three artifacts known as the Theoparts, which, combined, could free Tharizdun. Each Theopart represented one of the shades of evil (i.e., neutral, lawful, or chaotic.)
The Nuremberg Chronicle, a late 15th-century text that tells the history of the Christian world, features a grotesque image of an English witch being carried off on horseback by the devil. Her breasts are bared, her hair loose, her expression contorted. The image, a woodblock print, helped popularize the association between witches and the devil, and it was reproduced throughout the 16th century. Now, this influential relic can be seen at a new exhibit, along with 200 other artifacts from the Cornell Witchcraft Collection.
Three thieves break into King Enma's fault and steal the Artifacts of Darkness: three powerful relics forged from the that could devastate the living world. While this is happening, the newly commissioned Spirit Detective is dealing with issues at school. He's framed by Mr. Iwamoto for a crime he didn't commit and Koenma helps Yusuke punish his teacher by teaching him the Spirit Gun.
Once again, Gouki beats Yusuke, who's hesitant to use his Spirit Gun. Botan distracts the demon and Yusuke is able to land a clean shot that defeats Gouki and frees the souls he's captured. Despite his injuries, Yusuke continues to hunt down the other criminals. He happens upon Kurama, who asks for only three days and then swears to return the mirror. After three days, on the night of the full moon, Kurama meets Yusuke on the roof of the hospital. Kurama introduces Yusuke to his sickly human mother and explains his past as a demon who came into the living world by becoming this woman's son.
The ABCs of DatingSometimes dates are listed as BC or AD. Other times they show up as B.C.E. or C.E. What is the difference?BC stands for Before Christ, and it is used to date events that happened before the birth of Jesus, whom Christians consider the son of God. AD refers to Anno Domini, Latin for year of our Lord, and refers to all the years from Jesus birth onward. In the late 20th century, scientists realized they were basing the entire history of the world around the birth of one religious figure. Many archeologists now prefer the terms B.C.E. (Before Common Era) and C.E. (Common Era). The dates are still the same, only the letters have changed.
The classifications of magic gems according to which Primal Source they correspond with are as follows: Fire Rubies for Sun magic; Aquamarines for Ocean magic; Sky Sapphires for Sky magic; Stoneheart Emeralds for Earth magic; Moon Opals for Moon magic; and Quasar Diamonds for Star magic. It is known that Quasar Diamonds are the rarest of all, being stated by the Earthblood Elf N'than as being as few as three in number in the whole world.
A mirror that Viren stole from the dragon lair inside the Storm Spire with Ancient Draconic runes inscribed on its frame. It was created to protect the world from an ancient and mysterious threat,[15] with Runaan describing it as "something worse than death". It was eventually revealed that Aaravos, an elven Archmage, is trapped on the other side of the mirror.[16] Before Viren stole the mirror, it was kept close to where Avizandum and Zubeia slept.
Primal Stones are powerful artifacts that act as conduits to Primal Sources even when the source itself is not immediately available. They give a mage access to primal energy anywhere, anytime: Sun magic in darkness, Earth magic at sea, and Moon magic during the day. They are also the only means by which a human not connected to an arcanum can use primal magic. But Primal Stones are incredibly rare; only master mages can craft them, and the crafting rituals themselves have largely been lost to time.[18] 2ff7e9595c
