Space Shuttle Mission 2007 Crack
September 04 , 2014Really bad news!Dear customers! There's with great sorrow we have to announce that our co-founder, administrator, marketing director and, not to say the least, great friend Alexander Lorinczi has past away. He lost the several years long fight against a brain tumor. Our thoughts and condolences goes to his wife and two children. Hopefully this ends all speculations that has been going on in the forums. It was he's personal request to not make it public, and we hoped to the end that he could win the uneven battle. For that reason this page has not been updated for a long, long time. There has been more important things to take care of, as we hope you understand. Finally some important notes: -The reactivation of licenses has, and will always work as usual. Mail to support [at] space-shuttle-mission.com. -Users that have applied for forum membership and didnt get any mail in return MUST re-apply. -The development of SpaceShuttleMissionSimulator 2 will continue. It has never stopped acually. It was what Alex had wanted. Dont ask when it will be finished, since its a complete overhaul of the graphics system. But we can reveal as much as a new ISS model is 95% finished and a new model for the space-shuttle is 100% finished. And its NOT the space shuttle thats is shown in the SSMS2 video preview. More news to come soon.
The program is sometimes referred to as "SpaceShuttleMission2007 PATCH", "SpaceShuttleMission2007 DEMO", "SpaceShuttleMissionSimulator Uk". Shuttle.exe or shuttledemo.exe are the frequent file names to indicate the SpaceShuttleMission2007 installer. We recommend checking the downloaded files with any free antivirus.
The Space Shuttle Mission Simulator (tm) is the most exciting space shuttle simulator available today, designed to provide the experience and excitement of the NASA Space Shuttle missions in extreme detail. From launch to in-orbit missions and landing, every button, command, and action replicates the authentic experience of mission sequences in beautiful detail.Watch the Shuttle launch from the KSC VIP location or from the cockpit.
The flight by Discovery is currently the next-to-last for the shuttle program, winding down after nearly 30 years. One other mission remains on the official lineup, by Endeavour at the end of February. That final mission almost certainly would be delayed if Discovery is bumped into 2010.
This listing shows the completed space launches from spaceports around the globe in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Dates and times are given in Greenwich Mean Time. For later missions, see pages listing launches from 2009 through 2011, from 2012 through 2014, from 2015 through 2016, from 2017 through 2018, and from 2019 through present day.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla - NASA said Friday that cracks have been found in the insulation of all three space shuttle fuel tanks slated to fly in coming months and could be the reason a chunk of foam debris broke off during Endeavour's launch.
The debris gashed the belly of the shuttle, but ultimately didn't threaten the spacecraft during its recent mission. But NASA wants to prevent that from happening again and officials outlined their repair plan Friday.
The new cracks were found in a layer of insulating cork that lies beneath the foam insulation on fuel tank brackets. Officials said both the cork and foam will be removed and then only new foam will be sprayed on before the next shuttle flight.
The cracks were found through X-rays of the insulation on each of the five brackets on the fuel tank that will carry Discovery into orbit in two months. Small cracks also were found in the cork on fuel tanks for the two shuttles scheduled to fly later this year and early next.
Because of logistics, any delay in the October mission could wind up delaying launches set for December and February, Hale said. And that could ultimately prevent NASA from meeting its 2010 deadline for completing construction of the international space station.
European astronaut Hans Schlegel, from Germany, climbs into the slidewire basket for final training at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, in Cape Canaveral, Florida, in November 2007, in preparation for the STS-122 space shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
The photograph was extracted from footage taken by a camera onboard the shuttle during a live satellite video conference between Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Colonel Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli to travel to space.
Origins: As noted above, a few days after the U.S. space shuttle Columbia broke up upon re-entry to Earth, killing all seven astronauts aboard, the Israeli news service Maariv published a news story
accompanied by a photograph taken from a live video interview conducted with Israeli shuttle astronaut Ilan Ramon 11 days before Columbia's disastrous end. The photograph purportedly shows two large, plainly visible cracks in one of Columbia's wings, supposedly demonstrating that not only had Columbia suffered significant damage (presumably from debris which struck its left wing 80 seconds after takeoff), but that the damage was obvious and should have been noticed and acted upon well before Columbia's fatal plunge through the atmosphere.
The picture wasn't a photo of Columbia's wing, however: it was a photo of the front inside edge of the cargo bay, and the "cracks" were simply ordinary seams. The black protrusion (resembling a stovepipe hat of the sort favored by Abraham Lincoln) visible in the right-center portion of the image is one of many lugs that the cargo bay doors clamp onto when closed to ensure a tight seal. A similar lug can be seen in this panoramic photo of the shuttle's cargo bay:
This video pan of the cargo bay provides a better view showing the location of the lug and the structure to which it is attached relative to the rest of the shuttle. Still frames from the video have been misinterpreted as showing a large dent in the shuttle's wing, but the structure is the cargo bay (with the seams mistaken for "cracks" in the original photograph shown clearly), and the "dent" is actually a ripple in the bay's fabric covering:
The following e-mail exchanges obtained by ABC News were written by space shuttle pilot Bill Oefelein & Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman. They were found in the possession of astronaut Lisa Nowak when she was arrested after driving from Houston to Orlando in order to confront Shipman.
It's toughened up the spacecraft and cracked down on know-it-all managers. It's created a laser-tipped boom to scour the shuttles' thermal skin for cracks and developed bandages for these ominous sores.
An oversight group found the remedies to be so deficient that it ruled NASA noncompliant with Columbia accident investigators' 2003 insistence on practical space repairs. The task force also found NASA lacking on two other crucial requirements, shuttle hardening and elimination of fuel-tank launch debris.
So when Columbia descended through the atmosphere following its 16-day mission, scorching gases penetrated the hole left by the foam. The stricken left wing melted from the inside out, and the spacecraft lost control and ruptured over Texas, 16 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center landing strip.
It was months before NASA accepted the fact that a one-and-a-half-pound piece of foam could bring down a shuttle, and before space agency naysayers realized they could have done something in an attempt to save the crew if only they had known about the hole.
Nonetheless, "There's still going to be a possibility that a golden BB could get us," said deputy shuttle program manager Wayne Hale. To make matters worse, "Our testing has now shown us that even a crack, much less a hole, could be catastrophic."
As the numbers on the famous blue countdown clock dropped closer to zero, NASA TV helicopters began tracing their way along the bridge with cameras to record the crowds while fighter jets circled above, ready to intercept any stray birds attempting to enter the air space. Even the official space shuttle Bomb Squad got some action, though thankfully nothing came of it.
One camera caught a picture of a mysterious object falling from the shuttle at liftoff; radar detected another, about 2 minutes into the flight. Cameras aboard the shuttle and the international space station will monitor Discovery intensively until the end of its mission.
: Once again, stormy weather at Kennedy Space Center has put an end to NASA's attempt to launch space shuttle Discovery on STS-121. NASA will now stand down for 48 hours to service the orbiter's fuel cells and then try again on Tuesday, July 4. Independence Day's weather is predicted to improve over recent conditions with a 60% chance of being acceptable. STS-121's revised targeted launch time is 1:38 p.m. CDT. 2ff7e9595c
